Cinzah Merkens is a Auckland based Artist/ Art-School dropout.
Over the past 4 years he has exhibited in numerous exhibitions and expeditions throughout Australasia, South East Asia and the U.S. Cinzah quite often draws directly from his own imagination and past experiences, exploring familiar themes such as Childhood Nostalgia, daydreaming, nature, travel, and studies of slightly deranged city folk. As of lately he has been exploring the interrelationship between the act of creating art and music. In his spare time he enjoys eating gluten free pies, collecting clogged up spray caps and old school boom boxes and likes to play his bongo drum.
